ABOUT ME

My name is Lauren-Nicole, I studied and attained my BA in Design from the University of California Davis, where I honed and refined my skills in, illustration, CADs, tech packs and apparel designing skills. My design inspirations are grounded in cultural and familial influences, with a focus in denim and suiting womenswear categories. I am currently refining my Technical Design skills in denim, hard-woven, and knit categories, as well as brand development.

MISSION

My mission with this portfolio is to showcase my illustration, design and technical design skills and experience. My overarching goal, is to create for the demographic which I resonates with the most: young, contemporary black women, showcasing all the complexities that makeup the way we navigate the world. My designs and brand direction reflect the dualities of softness and strength, as well as sophistication and fun that we experience throughout our lives.
